Hotel Donat*** is next door neighbour to the Falkensteiner Hotels & Resorts Borik, and is part of the Falkensteiner partner program, the Hotel is situated in a park with pine trees, next to a 1.7 km long bay, with gravel, rocky and sandy beaches.

The hotel is an excellent place for a family holiday, offering a large variety of activities for kids, the area offers a large range of sport facilities as well as an exclusive wellness and spa at the Falkensteiner resort.

The hotel can be book as a regular hotel e.g., with half board, but as a specialty the hotel also offers all inclusive.

Rooms at Hotel Donat:

The Hotel Donat has 240 renovated rooms and family apartments. All rooms modern furnished and has shower/WC, telephone, air-conditioning, Sat-TV with and an integrated radio. The family apartment has two separate sleeping rooms and a kitchenette. Most of the room and apartments has a balcony, some of them overlooking the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea.

On guest’s disposal are safety deposit box, meeting /banquet facilities, business centre, beauty shop, souvenir/gift shop and bike rental

The all-inclusive program at Hotel Donat:

The all-inclusive restaurant starts with a large breakfast buffet, at noon a light Mediterranean buffet is served in the restaurant, and in the evening a large buffet. Drinks during meals are including as well as all drinks (beer, wine, water, soft drinks, coffee, tea) served from the all-inclusive bar in the time from 10 am to 10 pm.

For guest on a traditional program there is a à la carte venue, the Restaurant Adriana Select, which offer, Mediterranean specialities with high-quality wines and other drinks, served on a romantic, quiet terrace.

Both all-inclusive and other guest are recommended to try out the cocktails at the nearby Barbara-Bar, which is part of the Club Funimation Borik.

Facilities at Hotel Donat:

Guests can enjoy the rich sports offer: Together with the outdoor pool and the children’s swimming pool, the hotel also organises sports and activities programme in which everyone can participate. A separate children’s programme with care is also offered.

Tips for the Area:

If you follow the promenade to the bottom of the bay, you can find a nice restaurant cocktail bar. If you follow the road in front of the hotel for about 700 meter to the left, you can find one of the best Dalmatian restaurants in Zadar.

Zadar Croatia – Holidays in Zadar

Zadar is the second largest city in Dalmatia and the “capital” of north Dalmatia. The history of Zadar is marked by many attacks on the city during its almost 3.000 years of existence. During these attacks the city was party destroyed, but remarkably the old town part still has some remarkable buildings dating back to the Roman Empire. Some of the top sights in the old town part are the St. Anastasia's cathedral and the Roman forum. In general the Old town is a must see, here also the fish and green market can be found as well as a market for antique stuff.

In terms of restaurants, the majority can mainly be found in the centre of the town and in the city part Borik where also numerous hotels are situated. In the old town I can recommend restaurant Arsenal, and there is also a coffee bar at the main square which is quite interesting. Inside the coffee bar the are parts of an ancient Roman building. In the city Part Borik there are some nice seaside restaurants.

As mentioned, the majority of hotels in Zadar can be found in the city part Borik, but of course there are also a few nice hotels in the city centre like e.g. the Hotel Bastion. In other suburbs of Zadar it is also possible to find various hotels. If you prefer to stay in a private apartment in Zadar this is of course also possible in the old town and especially in Borik and Diklo there are plenty of private apartment houses. Campsites can be found in the surroundings of Zadar e.g. Croatia's only 5 star Camping ground is situated in Zaton about 10 from Zadar.
